Job Overview
We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Construction Sales Representative to join our team. This role involves developing new business opportunities, managing client accounts, and expanding our presence within the construction industry. The ideal candidate will possess strong outside sales experience, excellent negotiation skills, and a deep understanding of B2B sales processes. As a key player in our sales team, you will be responsible for building relationships with contractors, project managers, and other industry professionals to drive revenue growth and market share. This is a 100% commission opportunity with aggressive commission structure
Responsibilities
- Identify and generate new leads through cold calling, networking, and territory management strategies
- Conduct product demonstrations and presentations to prospective clients to showcase solutions tailored to their needs
- Manage existing accounts to ensure customer satisfaction and foster long-term relationships
- Develop and execute strategic business development plans within assigned territories
- Utilize CRM software such as Salesforce to track sales activities, manage customer data, and forecast sales pipelines
- Negotiate contracts and close deals with clients, ensuring mutual satisfaction and compliance with company policies
- Collaborate with marketing teams to develop targeted campaigns and promotional materials for territory growth
- Conduct market analysis to identify trends, competitor activities, and new opportunities for expansion
- Maintain a thorough understanding of product offerings, industry standards, and technological advancements relevant to construction sales
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries promptly and professionally
Skills
- Proven experience in outside sales, B2B sales, or technical sales within the construction or related industries
- Strong management skills with the ability to oversee territory management and lead generation efforts
- Expertise in account management, customer service, and upselling techniques
- Proficiency with CRM software such as Salesforce or similar platforms for tracking sales activities and managing client relationships
- Excellent negotiation skills with the ability to close deals effectively
- Effective communication skills for conducting product demos, presentations, and client meetings
- Ability to analyze market data and develop strategic plans for territory expansion
- Experience with marketing strategies that support business development initiatives
- Familiarity with technology sales tools and concepts relevant to the construction sector
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously
