    Description

    Responsibilities

    • functions as an integral support between Manufacturing and Engineering providing solutions and implementation follow through.
    • between engineering and production to solve and create details for standard installations.
    • and maintain engineering standards for design.
    • engineering change notices and follow through on productions changes and updates through standard processes.
    • in creating details for new design concepts.
    • edit and help develop standard operating procedures for manufacturing.
    • lead teams and meetings to implement processes and drawing changes and updates and communication to the manufacturing plant.
    • drive and implement continuous improvement items and projects.
    • drawing sets for sheet metal components and assemblies including details and bills of material.
    • internal project engineering, purchasing, and manufacturing with accurate communication and documentation. Participate in project design and scheduling meetings.
    • engineering functions in manufacturing processes to provide support for issues and implementation.

    Requirements

    • Degree in mechanical or industrial engineering
    • written, verbal, mathematical, and interpersonal skills.
    • 3 years experience using 3D modeling software. (Inventor Preferred)
    • to use related equipment and software such as Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel
    • understanding of design techniques and familiarity with engineering terminology and processes.
    • aptitude with ability to complete basic mathematical calculations and problem solving
    • and remaining consistent in all CADD standards and company/departmental practices and procedures
    • in backup power generation or similar field a plus
    • with sheet metal components a plus
