    Description
    Firebird AST is seeking a Global Field Service Engineer to provide training and technical support to Special Operating Forces (SOF) users of developmental information analysis platforms including Palantir, FADE MIST, and IBM i2 Analyst Notebook
    Responsibilities include


    • Delivery of computer-based tools training
    • Tailored training and curriculum development
    • System troubleshooting and integration
    • Hardware and server maintenance
    • Workflow development, management, and optimization
    • Analytical Support
    • Data management, reconnaissance, optimization, and integration
    • Customer outreach Core Competencies Required
    • Experience fusing intelligence capabilities supporting special operations
    • Understanding of or prior experience with systems administration, including hardware, networks and servers
    • Strong communication skills with the ability to comprehend and articulate complex concepts in an easy-to-understand manner
    • Ability to take an active role in gathering and clearly articulating end-user requirements and recommended tool enhancements to the SOCOM government customer
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team within a SOF environment
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office, strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
    • Ability to work with and support end-users with varying levels of technical competencies - government, military, and contractor Minimum Qualifications
    Minimum relevant experience: 5 years


    • Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI government security clearance.
    • Must have extensive experience using Palantir and FADE MIST.
    • Must have an instruction background and be proficient with teaching the required POI.
    • Must be willing and able to travel as needed.
    • Must have recent deployed experience operating as an Intelligence Analyst, Operations & Intelligence Integrator, or in a 18F capacity in direct support of SOF
    Desired Qualifications


    • Expertise in Microsoft Excel and IBM i2 Analyst Notebook.
    • Significant experience using computer-based tools for graphical network and geospatial
    information developmental analysis.


    • Experience building and maintaining common intelligence pictures (CIP) and common operational pictures (COP).
    • Experience supporting SOF in an analytical capacity with the ability to create relevant and custom workflows in support of USSOCOM mission-specific training efforts.
    • Experience developing and delivering POIs and curriculum for computer-based tools training.
    • Experience in conducting fused multi-source fusion analysis, geospatial analysis, and network analysis.
    • Significant experience using Esri ArcGIS, SKOPE Tools, Voltron, and other developmental intelligence tools.
    • Experience using programming language(s) for task automation.
    • Familiarity with or prior experience providing engineering support to software development activities.
    • Proven detail-oriented analytical and critical thinking skills.
    • Demonstrated history of successful direct support to SOF customers.
    • Technical background with working knowledge of a programming language such as HTML, Ruby, Python, or Java
