    Minor Survivors of Human Trafficking Case Manager

    The Child and Family Services of NY is seeking a dedicated and compassionate case manager to provide advocacy and support services to minor survivors of human trafficking.

    Mission:

    To provide comprehensive services and support to minor survivors of human trafficking, empowering them to rebuild their lives and achieve stability and independence.

    Main Responsibilities:

    • Provide in-person and telephone client needs assessments, risk assessments, safety planning, brief counseling, crisis intervention, and on-going case management services

    • Conduct outreach visits to clients as needed

    • Advocate for clients in the criminal and civil legal systems, providing court accompaniment when necessary

    • Link clients to community resources, including shelters and support services

    • Educate clients on their rights as victims of crime, facilitate application to associated status and benefits, including NYS Office of Victim Services applications, and federal certification

    • Foster collaborative relationships with stakeholders, including law enforcement partners, Erie County Department of Social Services, and local youth providers

    • Attend staff meetings, supervision, and training sessions as required

    • Model sensitivity, fair treatment, trauma-informed care, and acceptance of diversity in all interactions

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Social Work or equivalent education and experience, with at least 2 years of paid professional experience preferred

    • Bi-lingual skills (Spanish-English) preferred

    • NYS driver's license and reliable transportation to travel throughout Western New York

    • Professional human trafficking experience preferred

    • Strong writing and data entry skills, proficiency in computer programs and MS Office
