    Principal Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst (Level 3) or Senior Principal Program Planning & Scheduling Analyst (Level 4)

    to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will be located

    on site

    in

    San Diego, CA

    supporting the

    RQ-4 Program

    in the Aeronautic Systems Sector. This position will be a

    hybrid (On-site and Telecommute Schedule)

    working schedule.


    Essential Functions:


    This Master Planning and Scheduling Analyst position will, under general direction, prepare, develop and coordinate integrated master schedules to meet program and IPT objectives.

    Ensure major projects and program schedules and plans are horizontally and vertically integrated across company functional groups including finance, engineering, material and manufacturing

    Utilize Gantt, PERT, milestone charts, earned value management and other project management techniques to gauge progress and identify performance variances to facilitate focus and intervention on critical areas

    Manage scheduling statement of work (SOW) while working with associated project controllers to ensure schedule and budget/forecast are consistent

    Analyze schedule for critical path, recognizing implications of changes and assists in the development and incorporation of work-around plans into the schedule when change is required

    Develop necessary reports and metrics to enable management decisions. Utilizes the Earned Value Management (EVM) system to analyze schedules to ensure they are consistent with budgets and forecast

    Perform IPT Scheduling for complex program IMS in a lead scheduling role for smaller projects

    Provides integrated scheduling from proposal through execution phase of contract

    The ideal candidate will possess the following traits and abilities:

    ability to prepare, develop and coordinate the integrated master plan and integrated master schedule to meet all program objectives: mentor and lead more junior analysts in tracking plans and schedules, perform risk analysis, identify and resolve critical path and network logic conflicts: effectively develop and implement solutions of moderate scope and complexity; work under very general supervision while completing numerous assignments per schedule and elevating potential issues to ensure proper management focus; ability to create and present content to various levels of leadership; ability to efficiently work with multiple functional teams, supplier teams, and Program/Project Managers; exert some influence on peers and internal customers; and have good interpersonal skills while representing the group on special projects outside of own group.

    Analyst should have the ability to work effectively under pressure.

    Basic Qualifications (Level 3):

    Bachelor's Degree with 5 years related experience in program planning and scheduling OR a Master's Degree with 3 years related experience in program planning and scheduling

    Possess intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and the detailed development of an IMS

    Schedule development self-starter

    Must present to program managers and leadership

    Full understanding Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and be able to support implementation on programs (please include applicable EVM experience on resume)

    Ability to work on site in San Diego, CA supporting a Hybrid on-site and telecommute schedule.

    Basic Qualifications (Level 4):

    Bachelor's Degree with 9 years related experience in program planning and scheduling OR a Master's Degree with 7 years related experience in program planning and scheduling

    Possess intermediate to advanced skills in MS Project and the detailed development of an IMS

    Schedule development self-starter

    Must present to program managers and leadership

    Full understanding Earned Value Management (EVM) practices and be able to support implementation on programs (please include applicable EVM experience on resume)

    Ability to work on site in San Diego, CA supporting a Hybrid on-site and telecommute schedule.

    Preferred Qualifications;

    Full understanding of developing a schedule for new business acquisitions.

    Active, final Secret clearance in-scope (within 5 years)

    Ability and willingness to obtain a DoD SECRET clearance

    Understanding of and experience with providing support to Integrated Product Teams (IPT)

    Experience in Schedule Risk Assessments (SRA), Integrated Baseline Review (IBR) and DCMA Joint Surveillance Reviews (JSRs)

    Salary Range:
    $97,500 - $146,300


    Salary Range 2:
    $120,900 - $181,300


    The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

    Employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives.

    In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
