    Role Overview

    MacPherson's Warehouse Janitor plays a critical role in the success of MacPherson's by providing a clean and safe work environment. Our Janitors actively participate in maintaining the warehouse, breakroom, and office facilities ensuring cleanliness adhering to safe, sanitary, and good housekeeping guidelines.You'll work closely with the Operations team to ensure all the warehouse cleanliness is done safely, successfully, and efficiently therefore directly impacting the company as an employee owner. Our Warehouse Janitor role is a full-time position working the PM shift.

    This is a full-time position working Monday through Friday 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM. The hourly rate range of pay is $ $14.50 an hour with a $0.75 shift differential, plus 14 days paid vacation in the first year. A $500 sign-on bonus is available and will be paid out in two payments. The first $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the employee's first 30 days of employment.The second $250 will be paid in the first paycheck after the 90th day of employment.

    A MacPherson's Warehouse Janitor needs:
    • A High School diploma or GED equivalent required
    • Janitorial/Custodial experience required
    • Sweeps, and mops, and polishes floors. May be required to operate a power scrubber to clean floors
    • Vacuums carpets in common areas, conference rooms, and offices
    • Removes and disposes trash from all areas and offices
    • Cleans common areas, including tables, chairs, countertops, drinking fountains, doors, windows inside and outside, refrigerators, microwaves, sinks. Uses cleaners and machinery in a safe manner according to manufacturer's specifications
    • Cleans and provides supplies for restrooms
    • Ability to perform all required tasks in a safe manner, following all safety rules and guidelines
    • Ability to understand and follow directions (verbal and written) in English
    • Ability to work independently
    • Pass pre-employment testing (Drug Screening and Background Check)
    • Must be willing to work in non-temperature controlled environment
    • Understands and demonstrates MacPherson's Core Values
    • Performs other duties as assigned
    • Forklift certification/experience necessary
    Physical Demands

    While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands and fingers to handle objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms. The employee frequently is required to walk and stand. The employee is occasionally required to stop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must be able to stand and bend for up to ten hours. The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 10 lbs., frequently lift and/or move 25 lbs., and occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 lbs. Must be certified to operate a forklift.
