    RTW SALES ASSISTANT – Leading Iconic Brands


    JOB DESCRIPTION:
    We are currently seeking a dynamic Sales Assistant, with the desire to learn multiple facets of the wholesale business.

    The position will directly support sales across multiple divisions of women's fashion, including, but not limited to – private label, cashmere, contemporary & elevated branded RTW.

    The right candidate will provide key administrative responsibilities, sales support & system management. The role will directly report to the Account Executive managing these areas.

    Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Candidate will provide key administrative responsibilities, systems support, research and development information, and reports directly to Account Executive
    Liaise on daily tasks involving Sales, Customer Service, Production and Design teams
    Purchase order management
    Process, log, update and track customer purchase orders from receipt to shipment
    Generate, manage, update, maintain and distribute reports – Inventory, open to sell, customer order logs, selling reports, etc.
    Maintain organization of system files – Line sheets, cads, buy charts, time and action
    Interface, follow-up & initiate customer outreach
    Attend meetings and take detailed notes
    Meeting/ Market preparation – Manage & distribute agenda, schedule appointments, reserve meeting space, prepare meetings, organize samples, meeting/buy recaps
    Order, photograph & track customer samples and distribute
    PP/TOP sample management – Monitor and track incoming/outgoing samples, alert to late samples and log approvals
    Provide system and general administrative support
    Entry level account responsibility, to include management of all aspects business management


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    1-2 years related experience, preferably in wholesale/non-retail fashion
    Must be able to work in a team environment
    Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    Ability to prioritize, focus and provide complete follow through on all aspects of responsibility
    Proficient in Excel & PowerPoint
    Strong attention to detail
    Strategic thinker with initiative & follow-through
    Eager & willing to learn and grow (aptitude to learn new systems quickly is a must)
    Possesses a strong work ethic
    Capability to multi-task in a fast pace office environment
    Outstanding interpersonal skills, creative thinker and problem-solving ability
    Experience working with major department stores & off-price, a plus
    Experience working with high-end independent boutique business, a plus
    Experience with Blue Cherry a plus
    Experience working with EDI's a plus


    ADDITIONAL INFORMATION:
    Salary $65,000 - $75,000 depending on experience
    Role will require being office daily
