    DOS Help Desk Analyst HDA A SC



    The Help Desk Analyst will work on a combination of days in the office and days out of the office. They can choose from either morning shifts (AM - AM) or afternoon shifts (:PM). During training, they may need to come into the office but once they are up to speed, they can work remotely.

    As a Call Center Analyst, they will be responsible for taking calls and assisting users with computer-related issues such as logins, resets, and application access. They will also escalate tickets to tier two when necessary. There is no physical installation or remote access involved in this role.

    This role requires analytical skills to troubleshoot business application support problems using their understanding of computer software and hardware products. The Help Desk Analyst must use technical databases and communicate with colleagues to research problems and find solutions. Accurate documentation is key in resolving technical issues effectively.

    Role Description:

      • Receives telephone calls from users experiencing issues with business applications or seeking information about specific application features

      • Identifies problem nature (hardware vs. software), logs it in tracking system
      • Escalates complex issues according to defined procedures
      • Assists users through problem-solving steps
      • Utilizes reference publications & diagnostic aids
