    SUMMARY: Tutor university students in undergraduate writing projects.

    PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Communicate effectively with all levels of undergraduate students
    • Quickly comprehend instructions given for written assignments
    • Quickly and accurately assess different types of student writing for structure, organization, logical arguments, style, grammar, and mechanics
    • Make appropriate improvement suggestions and explanations to students for individual writing assignments
    • Demonstrate self-discipline and initiative with little direct supervision
    • Be comfortable working in a multi-cultural environment
    REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES:
    • Must be enrolled as a student at Bob Jones University
    • Must have completed EN103
    • High ACT score in English
    • Demonstrated English language writing ability
    • Demonstrated interpersonal communication skills
    • Advanced knowledge of English grammar
    • ESL/EFL experience preferred but not required
