    This position will work a hybrid schedule which includes a combination of working both onsite at Greenwich Drive and remote.

    DESCRIPTION UC San Diego Health plans to transition to a more robust, integrated timekeeping and scheduling platform. The Timekeeping and Scheduling Replacement (TSR) project will manage the system implementation.

    UC San Diego Health seeks a Change Management / Communications/ Training Lead to oversee the TSR project's Change Management workstream to ensure alignment with project goals and timeline.

    The Change Management / Communications/ Training Lead will be an integral member of the TSR project team championing TSR's public relations effort and developing the TSR Communications and Training Strategy to guide its overall execution.

    This role will support Change Management discovery and execution with special attention to elements related to communications and training.


    Communications & Training:


    Lead public relations efforts, working closely with the Enterprise System Renewal (ESR) Program team, Nursing leadership, vendor consultants, and other key stakeholders to develop TSR's image, brand, and voice across UC San Diego HealthDrive all Change Management activities including, but not limited to, stakeholder analysis, recommend structure and cadence of engagement across stakeholder groups, etc.

    Create Communications and Training Workstream plans inclusive of identifying key campaigns, activities, deliverables, interdependencies, and durationsEnsure execution of Communications and Training Workstream deliverables and events across key project phases including, but not limited to, email announcements, websites, newsletters, social media presence, FAQs, presentation materials, leadership talking points, project documentation, training learning and reference materials, and learning management system coursesImplement and maintain processes for monitoring project email inbox, JIRA, and other communications channels with stakeholdersChange Management:
    Assess the organizational change impacts and develop strategies to promote readiness and adoptionManage the Change Leader relationship and guide this leadership group in driving change adoption within their impacted organizationsConsult on project interactions with the Subject Matter Expert (SME) group as they are engaged to participate in Project ActivitiesEvaluate organizational readiness via roadshows/townhalls, assessments/surveys, and departmental meetings to identify risk and manage resistanceCollect feedback on the most significant/risky processes, roles, and duty changes from the current state, which will require targeted change management supportLeadership & Collaboration:Provide direction to the Change Management Analyst/ Trainer and oversee delivery and work product qualityCollaborate with vendor consultants to oversee activities of other change management team membersSupport process improvement efforts within the change management team and across the TSR project teamEstablish and maintain strategic partnerships with the TSR Program Leadership team, key project stakeholders and vendor consultantsTrack output in alignment with measurement and project reporting strategyReport clear status to project management, including priorities, issues, and risks promptlyBuild confidence and trust with department leadersMINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Nine (9) years of related experience, education/training, OR a Bachelor's degree in related area plus five (5) years of related experience/training


    Related experience:
    Change management campaigns/projects, creating and maintaining strategic stakeholder relationships, employee engagement, process improvement.
    Thorough knowledge of the organizational development and effectiveness field, theories, models to assess, design and implement customized organizational interventions.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Experience managing a change management or training teamProven expertise in Strategic Communications approaches and standards in business communicationsProven ability to guide execution of communication content to consistently optimize messaging, enhance program goals, and adhere to established standardsExceptional general communication skills including writing, copyediting, presentation, and session facilitationProven ability to lead and coordinate collaborators in the execution of multiple and interdependent deliverablesDemonstrated experience building and managing exceptional relationships to achieve results in line with strategic goalsExperience supporting customer needs and articulating a strategy that motivates others to actionAbility to manage necessary resources to resolve problems in a timely and effective mannerAbility to synthesize complex materials and craft creative, persuasive messaging for a variety of audiences including the presentation of technical topics to general audiencesAbility to understand and work with large, complex systemsProven ability to comply with and enforce pertinent policies, procedures, regulations, and requirementsAbility to effectively utilize common office productivity software such as MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), MS Outlook, and internet browsersStrong understanding of higher education and timekeeping/scheduling industry terminology and communication standardsWorking knowledge of university staff personnel policies and collective bargaining agreements related to, or having an impact upon, time and attendance functionsSPECIAL CONDITIONS Must be able to work various hours and locations based on business needs.

    Pay Transparency ActAnnual Full Pay Range:
    $101,200 - $192,200 (will be prorated if the appointment percentage is less than 100%)

    Hourly Equivalent:
    $ $92.05Factors in determining the appropriate compensation for a role include experience, skills, knowledge, abilities, education, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The Hiring Pay Scale referenced in the job posting is the budgeted salary or hourly range that the University reasonably expects to pay for this position.
