What you will do in this role
The Manager of Pricing Analysis, reporting to the Director of Pricing Strategy will provide in depth market analysis centered around active ingredient cost trends, fully loaded cost, historical and active product pricing, and other influences and considerations to drive economical decision-making and optimize profitability.
Coordinate and Collaborate across Functional Disciplines to routinely Analyze and Validate Fully Loaded Cost, suggest Pricing adjustments in accordance with Price Discipline (Elite, Vital, SubVital), and provide Supporting Commentary to empower Commercial with Context-Positioning-Messaging
Understand and Champion Atticus Price Discipline (Elite, Vital, SubVital) related to Fully Loaded Cost of Goods / Pricing considerations
Collaborate with Portfolio Optimization and Portfolio Managers regarding current Inventory Volumes & Fully Loaded Costs of Goods relative to Replacement / Runway Fully Loaded Cost of Goods to Optimize Fully Loaded Margin & Working Capital while remain Competitive and Optimizing Market Access
Margins will Ebb & Flow, but Atticus must Maintain market Access Momentum
Conduct investigative analysis of Fully Loaded Cost of Goods to confirm accuracy while providing supporting commentary of what changed and why, pricing implications, and runway guidance to balance Fully Loaded Margin, Inventory, and Working Capital objectives.
Financial Validation of Marketing Programs and Modeling resulting Accrual requirements.
Collect, File, and Dissect formal and informal / in-season Competitive Price & Marketing Programs inclusive of Payment Terms.
Required Skills/Qualifications
Minimum of seven years of relevant work experience in FP&A, Pricing, Economics, or other relevant fields is required. Experience in chemical manufacturing preferred but not required.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Economics, Finance, or other relevant fields is required.
Advanced MS Excel skills (formulas, pivot tables, lookups), MS PowerPoint (charts, graphs)
Analytical mindset with the ability to analyze, simplify and communicate data
Excellent interpersonal skills and proactive communication skills along with strong initiative and balanced judgment
Strong written and verbal skills
Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
Organizational skills with superior attention to detail
Ability to coordinate and communicate across multiple functional disciplines
Excellent computation skills to make calculations with good speed and accuracy
