    We are looking for a new team member to fill the role of Senior Associate, Corporate Tax within our Finance team. This position is based in Pittsburgh, PA or New York, NY - **HYBRID**.

    In this role, your contributions will include:
    • Handling a high volume of end-to-end processes in tax accounting efficiently using tools and systems to resolve tax issues.
    • Utilizing expertise and judgement to support the global tax accounting team.
    • Executing complex tax activities such as contributing to tax analyses, policy implementation, record processing, journal entries, and reconciliations.
    • Leveraging computer skills to drive efficiency through automation.
    • Ensuring alignment with accounting principles and tax strategies for the business area.
    • Engaging and collaborating with various areas within the organization.
    • Independently assisting professional and management teams with tax research, analysis, and daily activities in line with tax guidelines and accounting principles.
    • Reviewing the work of other Corporate Tax support staff and assisting in issue resolution.
    • Performing specific supervisory review and approval actions as required.
    • Ensuring the quality and completion of your own work.
    • Adapting work based on local regulations and requirements.

    To excel in this role, we are looking for:
    • A Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
    • Preferably 3-5 years of work experience in a related field.
    • Preferred experience in tax accounting.

    BNY Mellon ensures competitive compensation for its employees by evaluating market data. The base salary for this role ranges between $68,000 and $120,000 annually at the start of employment. However, the actual base salary offered will be determined individually, considering factors such as experience and market conditions, and is just a portion of the total compensation package that may include commissions, bonuses, and benefits.

    This role is at-will, and the Company retains the right to adjust the base salary and other compensation components at any time based on individual performance, geographic location changes, company or department/team performance, and market influences.
