    Basic Qualifications

    Education/Training:
    Bachelor's Degree in Engineering.

    Experience:

    Minimum three (3) years of experience in truck body, oil and gas industry, or mining equipment is preferred but not required.

    General Responsibilities

    Responsible for creating new and modifying existing engineering documentation for product lines.

    This consists of but is not limited to service bodies, flatbeds, lube/fuel bodies, truck body accessories, oil and gas industry products, and mining industry products.

    Responsibilities will include 3D modeling, creating manufacturing drawings that include bill of materials and other supporting documentation such as wiring and hydraulic schematics.

    Designs must meet customer requirements based on United States Department of Transportation Standards.

    Essential Duties

    Performs a variety of duties to support the engineering team as follows:

    Interpret customer specifications and sales orders to complete anengineering package of drawings and bill of materials for manufacturing.

    Support the manufacturing of product by providing guidance as required

    Develop new product to meet sales, safety, and regulatoryrequirements.

    Support manufacturing initiatives to provide customers with products that meet or exceed customer requirements while improving internal metrics.


    Abides by the current laws and organizational policies and procedures designed and implemented to promote an environment which is free of harassment and other forms of illegal discriminatory behavior in the work place.


    Cooperates with, participates in, and supports the adherence to all internal policies, procedures, and practices in support of risk management and overall safety and soundness and the company's compliance with all regulatory requirements.


    Reports pertinent information to the immediate supervisor as requested, or according to an established schedule; compiles information as necessary or as directed and provides data to appropriate personnel.


    Responds to inquiries relating to his/her particular area, or to requests from customers, other personnel, etc., within given time frames and within established policy.

    Essential Skills

    Familiarity with standard engineering terms and practices

    Solidworks or equivalent 3D design software, including Finite element analysis (FEA)

    Knowledge of manufacturing procedures and processes

    Knowledge of hydraulics and wiring, and the capability to create schematics and work instructions

    Superior computer skills & the ability to maintain technical documentation

    Familiarity with product liability practices and associated design documentation

    The ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment and deliver on schedule
