    • Variable/On CallJob Description SCOPE OF POSITIONThe Manager, Outpatient Pharmacy Infusion Services shall be responsible for the overall direction and administration of the clinical and business operations directly related to the Infusion operations.
    The Manager is responsible for the staff coordination of the Infusion Pharmacy operation. The Manager will perform the job functions of the Infusion Pharmacist.

    The Manager will be directly responsible for pharmacy related activities in the infusion division, including patient referral evaluation, product mixing and dispensing procedures, clinical drug monitoring, and communication of appropriate drug information internally and externally, and proper documentation of all pharmacy related activities to comply with federal and state regulations.

    This individual will be responsible for proper control and documentation of all scheduled drug usage and inventory control within the Infusion division.

    The Manager will conduct regular PI meetings with Infusion staff to maintain The Joint Commission standards to improve the quality of services.

    The Manager will coordinate with the Purchasing Coordinator to obtain appropriate supplies and maintain par levels of stock.

    EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCEGraduate from an accredited Pharmacy program. Previous managerial experience is preferred.

    Experience should include, but not limited to, clinical consultations, review and medication usage evaluation for patients of all age groups, etc.

    Demonstrated proficiency and experience in the areas of nutrition support and pharmacokinetic dosing is required. Understanding of related information systems hardware and software.
