- Bachelor's Degree or higher in relevant fields (e.g., Accounting, Finance, Information Technology)
- 3-6+ years of progressive experience in integrated financial audits
- Preferred certifications: CPA and/or CISA; other relevant certifications like CISSP and CIA
- Blend of Public Accounting (SOX / IT SOX) and Internal Audit experience is advantageous
- Direct experience in general accounting concepts, financial statement risks, and controls
- Familiarity with IT Application Controls (ITACs), report testing (IPEs), and IT General Controls (ITGCs)
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients
- Ability to manage priorities effectively and deliver high-quality work
- Quick grasping of key concepts and collaboration with IT Audit teams
- Experience in the financial services industry is a plus
- Essential contribution to GFC engagement teams in executing integrated reviews
- Creation of high-quality workstream deliverables
- Discussion of findings and improvement opportunities with workstream teams and clients
- Effective management of deliverables and accountability for timely completion
- Evaluation of ITACs, manual controls, and key reports for effectiveness
- Participation in process walkthroughs with stakeholders
- Building relationships with GFC team members and business partners
- Support for special projects and internal training initiatives
- Demonstration of professionalism, urgency, and self-motivation

The Global Financial Controls Center of Excellence (GFC-CoE) plays a crucial role in ensuring a strong financial controls environment at the enterprise level. This function provides assurance on the completeness and accuracy of processes affecting Fidelity's financial statements. The GFC-CoE conducts assessments on the design and effectiveness of key financial controls through integrated reviews and offers advisory services for strategic initiatives.
The Senior Associate role involves evaluating risks and controls supporting the company's financial processes through integrated audits. The position collaborates with various stakeholders such as Business Unit Controllers, risk groups, process owners, and GFC associates, offering valuable insights into Fidelity's business units, financial processes, and systems. Reporting to a Senior Manager or Director, this role presents excellent learning opportunities within the GFC function.
