Description

CMC are seeking a talented and experienced DO-178 Process Assurance Engineer to work for one of our major Aviation Clients.

In this role, you will play a critical part in ensuring compliance with DO-178C, the industry standard for the certification of airborne software.

In this role you will:

• Lead the development and implementation of DO-178C compliant processes and procedures throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct audits and assessments to verify compliance with DO-178C objectives and requirements.
• Provide guidance and support to project teams on DO-178C best practices and standards interpretation.
• Generate and maintain DO-178C compliance documentation, including plans, standards, and reports.

Requirements:

• Extensive knowledge of DO-178C guidelines and certification processes.
• Proven experience in developing and implementing DO-178C compliant processes and procedures.
• Strong understanding of software development lifecycle models (e.g., waterfall, agile).
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
