This opportunity is for a FT Ancillary Support Specialist in our Rochelle Park, NJ offices.
The Ancillary Support Specialist supports the Ancillary team in processing orders for the pathology laboratory and diabetic shoes.
Essential Functions, Job Duties & Responsibilities:
- Provides daily productivity updates
- Updates department tracking spreadsheets
- Processes and follows up on communication for laboratory, pathology, and diabetic shoe orders
- Coordinates communication with referring doctors to obtain requested documentation
- Analyzes and reviews received documentation for accuracy
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Modmed experience preferred
- Good written and oral communication
- Self-motivated and solutions-oriented in a team-based environment
- Ability to manage time effectively
- Ability to problem solve independently
- Proficient with Modmed and Microsoft Office applications, including Excel
- Detail-oriented and organized
- Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and driving to potential new business locations
- Must have a reliable means of transportation
- Must be able to lift up or move 15 pounds at time
