    Ground Maintenance I (EQT OP1)

    Full-Time

    About Us: Established in 1975 by an act of the Virginia General Assembly, the Capital Region Airport Commission owns and operates Richmond International Airport (RIC). The Commission directs the growth, operation and business activities of RIC and works tirelessly to ensure it continues to be an affordable option for local, regional, and out-of-state travelers.

    Our Mission: RIC seeks to provide all our customers with an exceptional experience through convenience, innovation, and excellence.

    General Summary: Performs routine maintenance functions on the landscaping, grounds, roads, irrigation, and utilities belonging to the Commission through use of general labor and equipment.

    Education:

    • Requires a high school diploma, GED (General Education Development) or equivalent.

    Special Requirements:

    • Ability to comply with all safety regulations.
    • Must possess a valid Virginia Motor Vehicle Operators.
    • Shall be required to participate in the Emergency Response Program as pertains to a safe operation of airport.
    • May be required to work flexible schedule, including overtime, nights, weekend, and on call.
    • Must maintain a current and operational mobile or residential phone for emergency callback
    • Internal Candidates Eligibility: An employee must normally have completed at least twelve (12) consecutive months of employment in the current position before being eligible to apply for a new position within the Commission.

    Compensation and Benefits:

    • Hiring range based on experience $ $19.20
