    THE POSITION

The Department of Conservation and Natural Resources is actively searching for a Real Estate Specialist to lead and expand our land acquisition and disposition program.     DESCRIPTION OF WORK

    You will be responsible for coordinating with the Bureaus of Forestry, State Parks, and Recreation and Conservation, as well as the Office of Chief Counsel, regarding land acquisition or disposition. Your duties will involve working with the Bureau of Forestry's Mineral Section and the Division of State Forest Management to handle easements, road rights-of-way, pipelines, power lines, and other visible improvements on the subject parcels. Additionally, you will collaborate with the Planning section and relevant Regional Offices within the Bureau of State Parks. Furthermore, you will need to coordinate with the land records section's staff in relation to surveys and boundaries.

    Work Schedule and Additional Information:
    • Full-time employment
    • Work hours are 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, Monday - Friday, with 30-minute lunch.
    • Telework: You may have the opportunity to work from home (telework) part-time, up to 5 days per pay period. In order to telework, you must have a securely configured high-speed internet connection and work from an approved location inside Pennsylvania. If you are unable to telework, you will have the option to report to the headquarters office in Harrisburg.
    • Salary: In some cases, the starting salary may be non-negotiable.

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, TRAINING & ELIGIBILITY

    QUALIFICATIONS
    Minimum Experience and Training Requirements:
    • One year as a Real Estate Technician (commonwealth title); or
    • Two years of technical real estate experience and an associate degree; or
    • An equivalent combination of experience and training.
    Special Requirement:
    • This position requires possession of All candidates must possess an active Class C driver's license or equivalent.
