- Teach individual and/or group violin lessons to students of varying skill levels, from beginners to advanced performers.
- Instruct students in violin techniques, music theory, sight-reading, and performance preparation.
- Collaborate with the school's music department to integrate violin instruction into the broader curriculum.
- Prepare students for school concerts, recitals, competitions, and other performance opportunities.
- Maintain accurate records of student attendance, participation, and progress.
- Provide regular feedback to students and communicate progress to parents/guardians as needed.
- Support extracurricular music activities such as orchestra, ensemble groups, and special events.

- Account for all funds collected from students.
- Work cooperatively with adults assigned to the classroom (e.g., paraprofessionals, student teachers, parents, and volunteers), establishing clear expectations for roles and responsibilities.
- Recommend to the Campus Director or designated supervisor the supplies and equipment needed to support instruction and assist with ordering, following established procedures and budgetary allotment.

PRIMARY PURPOSE
The Violin Instructor will provide high-quality violin instruction to students within the school's music program, fostering musical growth, discipline, and performance skills. This role supports the school's mission to promote the arts and cultural enrichment while helping students develop both technical proficiency and a lifelong appreciation for music.

Bob Hope School is a growing open-enrollment public charter school (non-profit) providing parents a choice in their child's education. Bob Hope Elementary is a Montessori / Dual-Language campus.
