    Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP-CCC/CFY) |Tacoma,WA

    Are you a passionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) or a Clinical Fellow (CFY) looking for an opportunity to make a difference in the lives of students? We are seeking a dedicated SLP to join our team in Tacoma,WA for the 2024/2025 school year. This is a full-time position, offering the chance to work with a diverse student population and grow as a professional.

    Duration:

    • Full-time position for the 2024/2025 school year
    • September 3, 2024, to June 17, 2025

    Responsibilities:

    • Conduct screenings, evaluations, and assessments to identify students with communication disorders.
    • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to address students' speech and language needs.
    • Provide direct speech-language therapy services to students, both individually and in group settings.
    • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' communication skills in the classroom.
    • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and provide input on student goals and accommodations.
    • Maintain accurate records of assessments, therapy sessions, and progress reports.
    • Provide training and support to school staff and parents regarding speech and language strategies and interventions.

    Qualifications:

    • Masters degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Sciences and Disorders.
    • Valid Washington state license or eligibility for licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
    • Clinical Fellows (CFY) are encouraged to apply; supervision will be provided.
    • Knowledge of pediatric communication disorders and evidence-based therapeutic interventions.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team.
