- Wellness programs
- Support the Research Community in ensuring compliant use of technology and data.
- Support the Research Office with internal automation projects.
- Participate as a core team member on the program management team for an enterprise research initiative to modernize software and streamline processes. Assigned responsibilities will be website content and knowledge base/guidance materials.
- Oversee assigned Research Office websites and SharePoint web pages and manages content.
- Assist with or manages projects related to researcher tools and services.
- Develop materials for electronic informed consent and assists with maintaining standards for the electronic informed consent (eIC) program.
- Develop standards and guidance for technology used in the conduct of research (survey software, participant payment software, data sharing, and transfer).
- Create guidance and supports Microsoft Teams and SharePoint for the Research Office.
- Assist with the Data Protection Form reviews and process management.
- Maintain a working knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations and institutional policies and procedures related to research and information security.
- Consult with IT departments and others as needed to resolve issues for researchers.
- Perform other duties as directed.
- Bachelor's degree required.
- A minimum of three (3) years of experience with HTML and Microsoft Teams/SharePoint and IT support.
- Ability to manage small projects.
- Basic proficiency and comfort with HTML.
- Experience in creating and managing Microsoft SharePoint and Teams sites.
- Ability to learn new software programs.
- Ability to analyze moderate business problems and propose effective solutions.
- Skilled at using logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions or approaches to problems.
- Ability to interpret complex information such as federal regulations and policy.
- Excellent writing skills.
- Skilled at building and maintaining positive relationships.
- Strong customer service skills.
- Demonstrated attention to detail.
- Strong organizational skills (working on multiple projects simultaneously).
- Self-motivated, ability to work independently (remote position).
- Experience working in higher education or a research environment.

As a (Remote) Research Technology Compliance Specialist, you will support the Research Office, the research community, and other departments involved in research administration and compliance by providing services that directly support the submission, review, and approval of research.
Job-related tasks include but are not limited to supporting technology used in the engagement of participants, managing website content and Microsoft SharePoint web pages, permissions and file management, developing guidance and knowledge articles related to research systems and processes, and managing small projects related to research systems or technology.
