- Organizes the workflow, problem solves and manages multiple ongoing priorities
- Identifies and follows manufactures instructions to sort, disassemble, decontaminate, rinse and disinfect instrumentation, flexible scopes, and equipment
- Adheres to the proper handling of garbage, linen, and biohazardous materials
- Facilitates room turnovers
- Follows manufacturers recommendations for sterilization methods
- Properly handles sterile product and ensures stock is places in the proper location
- Consistently makes rounds through the operating rooms and confirms instrumentation needs are met
- Troubleshoots problems and repairs
- Knowledge of Medical Terminology
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of sterile technique related to operating room preparation and procedures
- Demonstrates proficiency in medical and surgical technology
- Demonstrates strong knowledge of operating equipment and supplies
- Formal training as operating room technician or Endoscopy Technician preferred
- One or more years recent clinical experience as Operating Room Technician or Endoscopy Technician preferred
- Current BLS
- Must complete additional educational requirements as assigned by due dates

Townsen Memorial Hospital is looking to hire a PRN Endoscopy Technician for our facility in Houston, TX This position will be responsible for working alongside of the physician during endoscopic procedures and assisting in room turnover.
