- EH&S Observer shall be familiar with using technology (apps and programs on cell phones, computers, and tablets)
- Bilingual (preferred).
- Completed foreperson test with a score of at least 70%.
- Class C Driver's license.
- Meets all ArborWorks requirements to drive company vehicles.
- A CTSP or ISA, or better, certification (or complete within 6 months of hire date)
- OSHA 10 (OSHA 30 Preferred)
- CPR/First Aid certification (within 90 days of hire date)
- 3 years of industry experience

Job DescriptionJob Summary: EH&S Specialist duties include but are not limited to:
EH&S Observer (EH&S-O) will be asked to perform safety observations on all crews and subcontractors, contribute to company policies and procedures. An EH&S-O will be required to travel within our service territory. EH&S-O will also meet with crews in the morning to take part in the tailboard daily and help deliver the safety messages. They will be expected to fill out all necessary paperwork in a timely manner while working with fellow co-workers. They assist in incident investigations and fill out corresponding reports. Must have a proven track record of working safely, and knowledge of ANSI standards, OSHA, and client/customer regulations. This shall be a dedicated safety observer role, focusing solely on safety observations and no other job duties (i.e., grounds person, foreman, climber, etc.) EH&S-O shall attend and participate in safety calls with ArborWorks team and customer VM safety meetings and provide explanation of company at-risk findings as required. Also attend and participate in strategy meetings as required per ArborWorks and our clients/customers.
