    Job Description Summary

    As an Executive Director, you will report to the Global Head of Market Risk and Bank Resource Management Lead in Institutional Securities Group (ISG) Finance.

    You will play a pivotal role in leading organizational design and operating model for a dynamic team that continues to evolve with the increase focus in Funding, Capital and Legal Entity Governance at Business and Product Area Level.


    Primary Responsibilities:
    > Lead Organizational Design framework in ISG Finance focusing on Funding, Capital, and Legal Entity Operating Model & Governance
    > Create insightful reporting including metrics design and implementation, focusing on multiple Finance factors and drivers for ISG Business Unit with specific focus on funding, capital and other resource consumption
    > Strategic Partner with various Finance groups i.e Product Line Controllers, Legal Entity Controllers, Treasury, Compliance, Risk and Business Units on various business initiatives
    > Partner with different group Leads in ISG Finance including bringing together Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) to frame issue and propose initial implementation plans to senior management
    > Conduit for regulatory requests including exams and reviews linked to Legal Entity and Capital for ISG Finance
    > Analyze and communicate all aspects of performance to the Group's management team, including at group strategy sessions and business review meetings


    Qualifications:
    > BA/BS in Finance, Accounting or Management
    > 12+ Years of relevant experience, preferably in financial service
    > Experience in financial analytics / understanding of key metrics
    > Strategic thinker, sound judgment, professional maturity, strong work ethic
    > Organized and detailed oriented with the ability to synthesize large amounts of data, summarize key concepts and articulate appropriately
    > Strong written communication and presentation skills.
    > Flexibility to work independently as well as collaboratively in a dynamic and changing environment.

    Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $190,000 and $250,000 per year at the commencement of employment.

    However, base pay if hired will be determined on an individualized basis and is only part of the total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, incentive compensation, discretionary bonuses, other short and long-term incentive packages, and other Morgan Stanley sponsored benefit programs.
