Description
Responsible for managing a team of up to 25 Account Executive Trainees within the first three months of their time at PLS Logistics.
The Associate GSM will manage sales quotas, develop and mentor sales trainees and collaborate with the SOL or BTL on team sales performance.
Summary of essential job functions:
Key KPIs to Grow:
Net RevenueLoad CountUnique ShippersIncrease and retention of commissionable Account Executives Monitor individual performance (day, week, month)
Benchmark Management of AETs throughout the sales programInterviewing and Hiring AET CandidatesCustomer Management:
Growth, assignment to AE, maintain service and revenue/margin thresholds.
Increase revenue of key customers by supporting, developing and implementing key account strategiesVisiting key customers of the branch in person.
Interacting with Finance when needed to assist in efforts of collections from customers.Requirements:
Prior logistics sales experience preferred.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with rapidly changing priorities.2+ years of sales experience. Prior experience with coaching or mentoring sales representatives preferred.
