Electrical Estimator
Job Description
The Construction Electrical Estimator will spearhead the development of detailed budgets and competitive bids, focusing on cultivating strong, long-term relationships with contractors and repeat clients, who comprise approximately 80% of the business.
The estimator will primarily specialize in multifamily electrical projects valued between $1–8 million, with additional exposure to apartment and mixed-use developments.
Offices are located in Lansing, Grand Rapids, Detroit, and Traverse City, offering a true seat at the leadership table to influence project strategy and company growth.
Lead the development of detailed budgets and competitive bids.
Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with contractors and repeat clients.
Participate in industry networking events and golf outings to strengthen market connections.
Specialize in multifamily electrical projects ranging from $1–8 million.
Influence project strategy and company growth.
Essential Skills
3–5 years of electrical estimating experience in commercial construction.
Journeyman or Master Electrician license with 1–2 years of estimating experience.
Proficiency in estimation and bidding for electrical construction projects.
Experience with estimating software, such as Acubid.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Familiarity with or willingness to learn new software and techniques.
Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Lansing, MI.
Pay And Benefits
The pay range for this position is $ $45.00/hr.
