Description

Role Purpose

The position of VMware Cloud Foundation Infrastructure Consultant involves being responsible for the setup and configuration of the infrastructure components within the VCF solution.

Key responsibilities include working with vSphere, vSAN, VLAN networks, and OVA appliances like SDDC Manager, vCenters, NSX Managers, Edge Clusters, Aria Automation, Aria Operations, and Aria Operations for Logs.

Requirements and Qualifications

Minimum 3 years of experience in implementing and configuring vSphere environments. Alternatively, candidates should have taken part in over 6 vSphere project deployments.
Experience in deploying and configuring data center networks, troubleshooting LANs, VLANs, WANs, routers, switches, and firewalls.
Hands-on experience in setting up VMware vSAN clusters within a vSphere environment.
Strong knowledge of Aria Operations installation and configuration, particularly focusing on dashboards, alerts, and Log Insight.
Experience with deploying Aria Automation, configuring service catalogs, and integrating Aria Automation Orchestrator.
Knowledge of disaster recovery solutions setup using Site Recovery Manager and/or VMware Live Recovery.
Excellent communication skills, active listening ability, and adeptness in dealing with complex customer scenarios.

Preferred Qualifications

Hold a Valid VCP-DCV Certification
Have 2+ years of experience with VMware NSX or a history of 3+ NSX deployment projects.
CCNP certification or an equivalent qualification is also recognized.
Prior experience in VMware Cloud Foundation implementation, understanding VCF topology models, CloudBuilder, and SDDC Manager.
Demonstrated capability in offering leadership, adhering to best practices, and guiding customers on technical aspects.
