Location: Sandy Springs/Buckhead:

Role Overview:

We are seeking a dedicated Project Accountant to join our financial team, located in the Sandy Springs/Buckhead area. This role is an excellent opportunity for skill enhancement, as it includes comprehensive training, mentorship, and professional development programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Execute the processing and meticulous review of payment applications from subcontractors, as well as purchase orders and invoices across multiple projects.
• Take charge of initiating new project setups, including the systematic entry of all related subcontractor payment applications and purchase orders.
• Perform in-depth analyses of job costs and budgets to ensure fiscal responsibility and efficiency.
• Administer monthly owner pay applications, vigilantly track payment statuses, and conduct follow-ups as required.
• Manage weekly vendor payment processing, aligning with financial schedules and project needs.
• Ensure rigorous adherence to the invoice approval process by the project team, and facilitate payments in a timely manner, in compliance with contract stipulations.
• Collaborate with team members during the job closeout process to ensure all financial metrics are settled and archived accordingly.
• Serve as a liaison and maintain open lines of communication with Project Managers, Senior Management, and Administrators to foster seamless operational flow.

Qualifications:

• A minimum of 3-5 years of experience in the Construction or Subcontractor sector is required.
• Proficiency in Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems is highly desirable.
• Exceptional organizational skills and a proven track record of following through on commitments.
• Demonstrable ability to work cohesively within a team environment.
• Adeptness at meeting strict deadlines and operating under time constraints.

Compensation:

• A competitive base salary ranging between $65,000 and $85,000, commensurate with experience.
• Performance-based bonuses and a comprehensive benefits package are included.
