We seek a hands on team player with a minimum of 5-7 years of Human Resources and Recruiting experience in a fast paced, high volume organization.

The Human Resources Manager reports to the Sr.
Director of Talent Acquisition and HR and is responsible for the following areas and duties, including but not limited to:
Support companywide recruiting efforts
Assist with employee relations issues.
Provide support to restaurant management in the areas of compliance, staffing and people management
Prepare employee correspondence including, offer letters and employment verifications.
Oversee all aspects of onboarding and offboarding, including managing the badging process and security protocols.
Serve as liaison between HR and payroll, communicating updates and changes in a timely manner.
Maintain solid understanding of federal, state and local employment laws and ensure company practices are compliant.
Perform monthly compliance walk through to include safety / sanitation, personnel files, adherence to training program, postings, etc.
Manage on-site worker's compensation, leaves of absences, accommodation requests, etc.
Communicate expertly with all departments such as payroll, safety, operations, etc.
Maintain accurate and thorough materials, including training guides, new hire packets, etc.
Manage credential tracking – food safety, harassment, TIPS, etc.
Maintain the Trakstar database for the company's performance management system
Maintain ongoing compliance with required programs – i.e. commuter benefits, parking, etc.
Perform one on one orientations and lead group orientations as needed
Provide administrative reports to all aspects of Training and HR department
Other duties as assigned.
Requirements:
QUALIFICATIONS:
At least five (5) years of HR generalist experience
At least one (1) year of recruiting experience
Experience with UKG HRIS and payroll a plus
Detail-oriented, highly organized, has a sense of urgency
Sensitive to confidential information and ability to keep personnel issues and information confidential
Ability to be objective and fair
Must be able to work independently and exercise independent, mature judgment
Must be able to work onsite full-time
Must be able to work on the weekend as business requires, Sundays are a requirement due to payroll
Must maintain badging eligibility
Willing to participate in a 10-year criminal background check
Follows all requirements of TSA and airport security at all times
To be eligible to work in our airport locations, candidate must be willing to participate in a U.S. government, 10-year criminal background check and TSA security threat assessment
Experience in hospitality or food service a plus
