    Description

    OCHSNER HEALTH is seeking a MATERNAL FETAL MEDICINE SPECIALIST to join our 9-person Maternal Fetal Medicine group within our multi-specialty OB/GYN Department in New Orleans, Louisiana.

    The MFM group participates in all aspects of MFM care provision including outpatient consultative care for medical and obstetric complications, ultrasound and prenatal diagnosis, and oversight of the inpatient obstetric and antenatal service.

    In addition to the 9 faculty, we have the only MFM fellowship in Louisiana and currently we have one fellow per year.

    We also have a robust residency training program with 5 residents per class who participate in all the inpatient obstetric experiences.

    Applicants should be board certified/board eligible and have expertise in clinical high-risk obstetrical care, diagnostic obstetrical ultrasonography, and invasive prenatal diagnostic procedures.

    Participation in the educational mission is essential and while participation in research is not required, it is highly encouraged as both our educational and research missions contribute to living our core value of constantly striving for excellence and innovation.

    Ochsner Baptist, a campus of Ochsner Medical Center, is the Obstetrics hub and Womens Services Center of Excellence with a Labor and Delivery unit that delivers more than 3,800 patients per year, a 54-bed Level IV NICU with ECMO, as well as urogynecology, gynecologic oncology and reproductive endocrinology and infertility specialists.

    We have a broad referral area throughout Louisiana and Southern Mississippi and in conjunction with the Ochsner Regional Referral Center have a well-respected Maternal Transport service.
