    JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS:


    The Penn State College of Medicine, Department of Humanities in Hershey, PA is seeking a Clinical Research Coordinator to work on an NIH (National Institutes of Health) and state funded studies designed to help professionals who work with children be better mandated reporters for child abuse.

    For more about this project, see The person hired will assist with research team activities; work with the Principal Investigator and other team members to implement online learning curriculum; act as a liaison with state officials in various states to coordinate study materials and recruit participants; and generally, assist as needed with program development, documentation, and data management.

    Applicants should work well with others; have effective communication skills; be familiar with standard research practices; be adept with computer software (e.g., Excel and other data management tools); have a strong work ethic; and be able to work well independently and in a group.

    Curriculum and content development experience is a plus for this position.

    Typically requires an Associate's degree or higher (Bachelor's degree preferred) plus 1 years related experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

    This is a limited-term non-tenure line position funded for one year from date of hire, with possibility of refunding.

    Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR).
