Internal Medicine Target Start:
July - September Long term coverage for 6 months with option to extend Schedule: 40 hours per week / Prefer 4x10s / No on-call or weekends Setting: Rural Health Clinic / Outpatient Clinic Family practice patients, some acute care walk in

Required Procedures:

Joint injection, trigger point, preferred but not required Types of cases: Chronic care, multiple complexity, high volume of diabetic, HTN, COPD, CHF Rural Health Clinic, open 5 years offering: Primary Care, Acute Care, Pediatrics, Podiatry Patient volume expected 18 minimum, higher if acute care is scheduled.

Initially patient visits for the first couple of weeks will be scheduled at 40 minute intervals to allow the provider to get oriented and comfortable.

EMR:

Cerner Ambulatory Support Staff:
Medical Assistant Orientation is typically 1-2 weeks. Cerner experience can reduce this time to around 1 week.


Credentialing timeframe:
