Job Overview
We are seeking an energetic and motivated Artist and Outreach Coordinator to join our dynamic team
About the Role
This role will serve as the primary North American point of contact in the Oacific Northwest and Vancouver for the Daegu International Musical Festival (DIMF) MusicalStar initiative.
This role focuses on relationship-building, school outreach, and community engagement within musical theatre, performing arts high schools, and university programs. The ideal candidate has prior experience in theatre or the arts and thrives in people-facing environments.
You will represent us in meetings, auditions, school visits, and networking events, helping to grow awareness and participation across North America.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as primary point of contact for DIMF MusicalStar inquiries
- Conduct outreach to high schools, colleges, and theatre programs
- Schedule and attend meetings with educators, directors, and arts administrators
- Represent DIMF at auditions, workshops, and community events
- Build and maintain contact lists of theatre educators and institutions
- Track outreach efforts and report weekly metrics
- Assist with audition day coordination and contestant communications
- Support partnership development and relationship management
Qualifications
- Background in theatre, musical theatre, performing arts, or arts administration
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Comfortable networking and initiating conversations
- Professional, organized, and self-directed
- Must have valid driver's license and access to a vehicle
- Experience working with high school or college arts programs preferred
Ideal Candidate Profile
- Former performer, stage manager, arts administrator, or theatre student
- Confident in professional settings but warm and approachable
- Passionate about international collaboration and emerging artists
- Comfortable representing an organization publicly
Compensation
- Flexible schedule

Pay: $ $28.00 per hour
