Join our dynamic healthcare team as a Medical Assistant/Front-Back Office professional, where you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional patient care and ensuring smooth clinic operations. Responsibilities
- Greet patients warmly, verify their information, and assist with check-in and check-out procedures to ensure a seamless patient experience.
- Collect and record vital signs, patient histories, and other relevant clinical information accurately using Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems.
- Assist healthcare providers with clinical tasks such as History intake, vision testing, appointments, telephone calls and preparing patients for examinations or procedures.
- Support medical documentation by coding diagnoses with ICD codes and maintaining precise medical records in compliance with privacy regulations.
- Manage appointment scheduling, patient intake processes, and follow-up communications to optimize clinic flow.
- Prepare examination rooms, operate basic X-ray equipment if certified, and assist during outpatient procedures or minor surgeries.
- Maintain a clean, organized clinical environment while adhering to safety protocols for infection control and emergency preparedness.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of Ophthalmology and outpatient clinic workflows.
- Proven experience with EHR systems, medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and ICD coding.
- Ability to perform vital signs assessment, intake procedures, medication administration, and basic life support (BLS).
- Skilled in patient service delivery with excellent communication skills and a compassionate approach to patient care.
