This job safely prepares for and scrubs into interventional procedures in collaboration with interventional radiologists and nursing. Holds advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiography and provides care in accordance with prescribed radiation safety procedures and protocols.To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Education
Required - Completion of an approved radiologic technology program.
Work Experience
Required - None.
Preferred - Interventional radiology experience.
Certifications
Required - Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) OR American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) registry eligible, registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 90 days of employment, and temporary state license required
Current unrestricted license in the state of practice
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association
Preferred - Advanced certification in Vascular Interventional Radiology
