    Responsibilities
    The Human Resources Coordinator is an important role, touching all areas of Human Resources. This positions assists in the daily operations of the Human Resources Department.

    • Coordinates the new hire onboarding process, including processing through the UKG onboarding gateway and relevant background checks. Assists in reference checks as necessary. Follows up with new employees to ensure necessary employment paperwork is completed. Reviews I-9 documents and completes forms for new hires.
    • Assists employees in utilizing HR systems. Trouble-shoots issues through knowledge of the systems and by working with HR vendors. Manages access and user rights to HR systems.
    • Maintains inventory of Human Resources supplies. Completes check request records for departmental expenses.
    • Prepares for New Hire Orientation and assists with coordination.
    • Receives and tracks New Hire Action Forms. Ensures all employee changes are submitted timely through UKG. Communicates regularly with the Payroll Specialist to ensure accurate and timely employment and payroll transactions. Provides bi-weekly payroll memo to Finance for all new hires each pay period.
    • Completes employment verification requests. Escalates information request subpoenas to the the Director of Human Resources.
    • Completes exit interviews as necessary.
    • Coordinates anniversary recognition program. Provides advance notice to program director of milestone anniversaries. Informs employees of gift options and coordinates shipment with office services.
    • Creates employee folders and files paperwork properly. Manages preservation of employee documents in accordance with NADAP's record retention policy and legal requirements.
    • Generates monthly new hire, termination, anniversary and birthday reports. Pulls other reports as needed.
    • Performs other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field or at least one year of human resources experience.
    • Possesses a basic understanding of human resources functions.
    • Ability to learn technical systems quickly. Experience with HRIS preferred.
    • Intermediate knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Outlook. Basic knowledge of Powerpoint.
    • Extremely organized and able to switch priorities quickly.
    • Strong customer service skills.
    • Exercises discretion and keeps information confidential.
