Job summary
Perform light vehicle maintenance as part of team in largest modern facility Training Tools Technology all provided ESSENTIAL DUTIES include the following Other duties may be assigned Drains oil from crankcase and refills with required amount of oil Replaces oil and air filters Inspects vehicle fluid levels replaces or replenishes as necessary Checks tire pressure and adds air if needed Lubricates moving parts with specified lubricants Reports machinery defects or malfunctions to supervisor Ensures that customers cars are kept clean Notifies service advisor immediately of anything that has happened to change the appearance or condition of the vehicle Maintain a high level of grooming hygiene and uniform appearance Conduct all business with sincerity honesty and genuine concern for the customers Keep within the estimates that have been given to the customer Carefully inspect every repair order and vehicle for proper job completion Clean the windshield and vacuum every vehicle Advise the Manager of any repairs or services that are needed Advise Service Manager of any situation that jeopardizes safety welfare integrity Dealership employees customers Performs work outlined on repair order with efficiency accuracy in accordance dealership factory standards Sells lubrication safety inspection other related services Keeps shop neat clean Maintains accountable dealership owned tools manuals Returns them proper place same condition received Understands keeps abreast complies federal state local regulations such hazardous waste disposal OSHA Right Know etc Operates tools equipment safe manner MARGINAL DUTIES include following Other duties assigned Communicates parts department obtain needed parts Participates manufacturer sponsored training programs assigned by Service Manager SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES This job has no supervisory responsibilities QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully individual must able perform each essential duty satisfactorily The requirements listed below representative knowledge skill ability required Reasonable accommodations made enable individuals disabilities perform essential functions EDUCATION EXPERIENCE No prior experience training LANGUAGE SKILLS Ability read interpret documents such safety rules operating maintenance instructions procedure manuals Ability write routine reports correspondence Ability speak effectively with Customers employees organization MATHEMATICAL SKILLS Ability add subtract two digit numbers multiply divide 10s 100s Able perform operations using units American money weight measurement volume distance REASONING ABILITY Apply common sense understanding carry out simple one two step instructions Deal standardized situations occasional variables CERTIFICATES LICENSES REGISTRATIONS Valid Drivers License PHYSICAL DEMANDS The physical demands described here representative those must met employee successfully perform essential functions reasonable accommodations made enable individuals disabilities perform essential functions While performing duties this job employee regularly require stand walk use hands finger handle feel reach hands arms stoop kneel crouch crawl talk hear taste smell Employee occasionally require climb balance Employee regularly lift move up 50 pounds occasionally lift move more than 100 pounds Specific vision abilities required this job close vision distance vision color vision peripheral depth perception adjust focus WORK ENVIRONMENT Work environment characteristics described here representative encountered while performing essential functions reasonable accommodations made enable individuals disabilities
