Financial Registration Coordinator - Silver Hill Hospital in New Canaan, CT is seeking two positions temp-to permanent.

• Strong knowledge and experience with all major insurance companies to verify patient's insurance coverage.
• Ensures all patients scheduled for admission understand financial obligations for financial clearance for admittance day of arrival.
• Deal directly with guarantors/trustee/patient's responsible parties to review cost, insurance coverage and payment requirements.
• Experience with Salesforce and Eclipsys is preferred. Ensure proper noted comments are entered in both systems. Familiar with DocuSign.
• Must have the following excellent customer service skills which include:

communication skills, problem solving for clients, cheerful outlook always, professional phone etiquette.

• Have excellent time-management and multi-tasking skills and must complete assignment by end of shift. Fast pace high volume workflow.
• Close out admissions charts, process payments, and run evening census report.
• Discuss with your Supervisor and Manager of Patient Accounts the inability or

unwillingness of any patient or responsible party to meet the cost of treatment at time of admission.

• Assist in Patient Accounts Department will be required substitutes for colleagues on vacation or during periods of illness for departmental coverage.

This position is 36-hour rotating shifts a week. Sunday 11:am- 5:00pm.

Monday 8:00am- 6:30pm; Tuesday 8:00am-6:30pm, Wednesday 8:00am-6:30pm

This position requires experience in mental health and medical financial billing setting.

BA/BS is preferred along with prior references at time of interview.
