**Store hours are 10-6 M-Friday, Saturday 10 5, and noon to 5 on Sunday - position hours will vary**

Promotes and practices the mission and values and follows the policies and procedures of Tidewell Hospice.

Plans and executes sales and donations under the direction of the manager.

Ensures and coordinates the process for donations, calls, coordination of donation calls, assists in pick ups and issuing donation receipts.

Assists manager and volunteers in display and pricing of merchandise.

Supports manager in maintaining volunteer and customer compliance with store policies and procedures.

Assists manager in planning work schedules for volunteers and assigning staff to specific duties.

Responds courteously to customer inquiries and complaints in a timely manner.

Responds to critical incidents such as fire, robbery, shoplifting, weather events, personnel or volunteer injury reports according to policy.

Assists manager in implementing store policies and procedures to ensure profitability of store operations.

**Educational/Professional:**

High school diploma or equivalent required.

Previous experience in a retail or thrift store.

Previous experience supervising volunteers preferred.

Previous experience handling cash, balancing a cash drawer and processing credit cards
