GEOTECHNICAL PROJECT ENGINEER

Salary:
$80,000 - $100,000


RESPONSIBILITIES
Conducting visual classification of soil and bedrock specimens

Orchestrating laboratory tests on selected samples to comprehensively assess subsurface conditions, enabling recommendations for development, pavement, and foundation strategies

Executing settlement analysis, calculating bearing capacity, determining lateral earth pressure, conducting slope stability assessments, and designing retaining walls

Drafting geotechnical engineering reports tailored for residential, commercial, industrial, and educational projects

Undertaking on-site inspections for various projects, involving day-trip travel only

Overseeing multiple projects and clientele across the Front Range area

Facilitating communication among clients, contractors, architects, municipalities, and fellow engineers

Providing mentorship and training to staff engineers and drilling technicians


QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelor of Science in Civil or Geotechnical Engineering

Professional Engineer registration in Colorado or ability to attain within 6 months

Must pass a Motor Vehicle Record, Background Check and Drug Test
