- Support the deployment of a comprehensive IP program protection plan and overarching program
- Develop innovative solutions for fast evolving security risks in an manufacturing and R&D environment
- Partner with cross functional security peers to develop and implement appropriate policies to meet the needs of the Kuiper business teams

- Develop and assist in the implementation of standards, policies, and procedures for Kuiper Security

- Continually foster strong cross-functional relationships to drive business engagement and execution of security objectives and goals, serving as an internal champion for Prototype Security, confidentiality, and compliance with policies
- Travel to various sites to review and audit security infrastructure and support onsite security awareness initiatives and events
- Work cross functionally with peers in Legal, Hardware, Supply Chain Ops, Trade & Compliance, EHS, Kuiper business, and Security to establish scalable Prototype Security standards.
- Respond to crisis, emergency and/or disaster recovery issues that have impact on prototype development.
- Support Business Continuity planning and process implementation for product teams and Prototype Security team
- Actively evaluate, analyze, and use metrics collected to proactively inform programmatic needs and policy decisions
- 4+ year experience in facility/corporate security management, law enforcement, risk management, legal, or related industries
- Ability to work in an in-office environment, physical presence in the office is required
- Domestic and international travel may be required (10-20% of time)
- Has work experience in Industrial Security Design Implementation or Security Industry Standards
- Experience operationalizing policies and best practices for areas such as Intellectual Prototype security, and security controls or risk management frameworks
- Proficiency in computer applications, general understanding of security systems, and general technical aptitude through demonstrated experience
- Demonstrated ownership and willingness to dive in and do what it takes to achieve the team's end goals
- Demonstrable track record dealing well with ambiguity, prioritizing customer needs, and delivering measurable results in a fast-paced environment
- Clear, professional communication skills able to contribute to team discussions, knowing when to contribute, when to listen, and when to ask questions

Project Kuiper is an initiative to launch a constellation of Low Earth Orbit satellites that will provide low-latency, high-speed broadband network connectivity to unserved and underserved communities around the world.

This position is responsible for collaborating with cross functional security peers to deliver the end to end IP protection of the Kuiper research and development (R&D) facilities, testing activities, and launch activities.
This position will work across the organization to ensure business and facility operations are conducted in accordance with approved ACS policies, standards and procedures.
Additionally, this position is responsible for ensuring that these processes are up-to-date and align with business security requirements.This position involves working closely with the Kuiper business teams, ACS peer teams, and other security teams at Amazon to support the Kuiper operations, testing, spaces, moves, and destruction.
Due to applicable export control laws and regulations, candidates must be a U.S. citizen or national, U.S. permanent resident (i.e., current Green Card holder), or lawfully admitted into the U.S. as a refugee or granted asylum.
