    Role Description:

    Working directly with sellers, buyers, brokers and Ten-X cross-functional teams, the Closing Associate is responsible for delivering an efficient, scalable, and compliant process that helps our clients through all aspects of contracting/closing and title while using the Ten-X platform. The Closing Associate will maintain professional relationships with clients by preparing, reviewing, and posting updated title commitments, coordinating the execution of the appropriate purchase and sale agreement and related documents, tracking contract execution and EMD collection on auction day, and finally, to oversee the file in closing and to ensure Ten-X payment when escrow closes.

    Responsibilities:

    * Managing progress across Ten-X cross functional teams to ensure all assigned CRE and note sales are ready for auction in advance of deadlines

    * Actively participating in seller / client meetings and taking ownership of communications regarding Ten-X's contracts and closing end-to-end process

    * Reviewing seller purchase agreements or addenda for special provisions and required auction terms to ensure compatibility with the Ten-X platform

    * Auditing each assigned property's Data Room and publishing the appropriate purchase agreements / addenda to the listing page in a timely manner so they can be reviewed by potential bidders prior to auction

    * Analyzing title reports and coordinating with sellers and title companies to address problematic issues prior to auction Coordinating with buyers, sellers and escrow to obtain required signatures and confirmation of Earnest Money Deposit receipt by escrow
    * Facilitating communication between buyers, sellers, brokers, and title/escrow companies to help resolve disputes or conflicts to ensure a smooth close of escrow
    * Escalate concerns to appropriate parties with clear and concise information and details
    * Problem solve and seek out new and creative solutions to internal and external issues
    * Reporting polished, succinct, and complete notes on all transactions for review by senior management
    * Ad hoc projects as determined by management, including but not limited to process improvement related projects, preparing and delivering presentations, and training initiatives

    Basic Qualifications:

    * Bachelor's degree from an accredited, not-for-profit University or College.

    * A track record of commitment to prior employers.

    * 2+ years of real estate transaction or title / escrow experience.

    * Working knowledge of real estate contracts, closing and associated due diligence documents.

    * Highly collaborative and capable of working with internal and external partners to facilitate successful results.

    * Ability to make quick decisions and solve problems using good judgment in a fast-paced environment.

    * Polished written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.

    * Strong organizational and records management skills.

    * Research and problem-solving skills.

    * Technical acumen and familiarity with all MS Office software including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and SharePoint.

    * Evidence of strong academic performance in college.

    This position offers a base salary range of $64,300 - $109,600, based on relevant skills and experience and includes a generous benefits plan.
