The Regulatory Analyst researches federal, national and state specific regulations and requirements. The specialist is responsible for collating research and inputting research into the database and maintaining its accuracy. The Regulatory Specialist is also accountable researching and maintaining the database for accuracy related to state licensure requirements for individual healthcare providers.

WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:

  • Interpreting discipline specific licensure regulations
  • Developing relationships with internal departments
  • Interfacing with regulatory bodies in both oral and written forms
  • Communicating effectively with the external accrediting/regulatory agencies
  • Identifying appropriate target audience for content
  • Aligning content with federal, national and state regulations
  • Proposing organization-specific curricula related to standards and requirements
  • Serving as the interdepartmental liaison and client escalation contact for regulatory matters
  • Identifying and recommending process improvements
  • Creating marketing collateral/participating in webinars related to regulatory compliance as needed
  • Identifying content gaps and collaborating with Curriculum Designers and Product Management to

formulate an action plan

  • Maintaining accurate data in QuickBase

YOU'VE GOT WHAT IT TAKES IF YOU HAVE:

  • Master's Degree or higher at the collegiate level
  • 3 years of exposure and knowledge related to Health and Human Services Industry or Intellectual

Developmental Disability Industry

  • Knowledge related to accrediting agencies and standards (i.e. CARF, COA, Joint Commission)
  • Microsoft Office proficiency (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to work under time constraints and deadlines
  • Strong interpersonal skills; ability to collaborate with Content team, Product team and SMEs
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Ability to take constructive criticism and apply it towards professional development
  • Ability to remain calm and diplomatic
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to prioritize projects

IT WOULD BE A PLUS IF YOU ARE:

  • A licensed Clinical Social Worker with an active license or
  • A licensed Professional Counselor/Marriage and Family Therapist with an active license
