    This position as a part-time associate involves sampling products for suppliers at a Sam's Club. Product Demonstrators introduce customers to new and exciting items and brands through product tasting events, sampling, or demonstrations. Previous customer service, food handling, bartender, server, cashier, stocker, demonstrator, brand ambassador, or brand advocate experience can be helpful but not necessary.

    Responsibilities

    - Engage customers to highlight product features.
    - Ensure compliance with food safety regulations when preparing samples.
    - Collaborate with the team to meet product sales targets.

    Qualifications

    - Minimum age requirement: 16 years (18+ for Alcohol and Production roles).
    - Weekend availability preferred (Friday-Sunday); weekday and holiday shifts also available.
    - Access to a smartphone or tablet on workdays.
    - Proficiency in using appliances like microwave, toaster oven, and hot plate.
    - Ability to stand throughout the event.
    - Candidates without a high school or college degree, with no previous experience, returning to the workforce, or with military background are encouraged to apply. Comprehensive training will be provided.

    Work Environment

    The role may involve moderate to high noise levels typical of a retail grocery warehouse setting. Exposure to cold temperatures, refrigerated conditions, food items, and cleaning chemicals.

    Starting Salary

    $18.00 per hour.
