    As a neurodiversity clinical behavioral specialist, you will provide clinical support services to all eligible neurodivergent students at SCAD, including students learning online via SCADnow.

    Services include determining academic adjustments and other reasonable accommodations based on documentation and Section 504/ADA guidelines, providing groups for neurodivergent students to engage, and providing community referrals as needed.

    This position works collaboratively with a licensed mental health specialist and a neurodiversity education specialist to create a success plan for students who demonstrate higher-level needs in all aspects of their SCAD experience using research-based practices.

    All interactions will be documented in a timely manner via Accommodate and Titanium.

    In this role, you will also provide support and consultation to staff, faculty, and parents of the SCAD community in the area of neurodiversity.

    This position will perform duties across campus environments.


    Minimum Qualifications:
    Master's degree in applied behavior analysis, behavioral science, autism spectrum disorders, psychology, special education, or a related field

    Preferred Qualifications:
    BCBA experience and credentials Two to five years of experience in higher education environments PEERS certification

    Travel Required:
    Less than 10%

    Work Hours:
    The university work week is Sunday through Saturday. Most offices are open Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. To accommodate business needs, employees may be assigned to other work days and/or hours, including weekends and evenings.
