    ABOUT THE ROLE:

    We're looking for a part-time, go-getting, quick learning, natural products-loving Part-Time Marketing Communications Intern to join our SchroderHaus crew. This opportunity will start with a six-month commitment to be evaluated for continuation after that time period. Reporting to our Account Executive, our Part-Time Marketing Communications Intern will play a pivotal role in executing programming for our clients and in supporting SchroderHaus client teams.

    • Research and review existing and new client materials, websites, and social media channels to become acquainted with brand voice, tone, past coverage and social media activity
    • Based on client needs, develop and update targeted media and influencer outreach lists
    • Conduct outreach to media and influencers based on client program goals; will include outreach to trade publications, consumer outlets, broadcast outlets and blogs/websites, as well as influencers who fit client criteria
    • Evaluate Help Every Reporter Out (HERO), ProfNet, contributor and influencer inquiries and keep up-to-date on industry trends to identify relevant opportunities for clients
    • Help coordinate coverage needs, from sample coordination for media and influencers, to coordinating interviews
    • Collect editorial calendars relevant to clients and outline client-specific outreach opportunities
    • Monitor for client coverage, keep Coverage Books and coverage trackers updated and develop client recap reports, including monitoring for and compiling influencer/social mentions, as well as relevant industry trends
    • Draft press materials and influencer outreach materials, including releases, fact sheets, key messaging documents, and pitch letters utilizing brand messaging
    • Activate social community engagement, helping to optimize clients' social engagement and customer service
    • Provide research support for client programming, including things like co-branded partnerships, spokespeople, events and more, actively contributing to both existing client work and potential new business opportunities
    • Assist in development of client meeting agendas and program status updates
    • Observe and participate in relevant client meetings to become familiar with strategy sessions and providing counsel to clients
    • Conduct outreach to natural products brands to garner excitement and interest in our TasteBuzz influencer mailer program
    • Acting as a brand ambassador for our clients at events and non-event sampling activations, with demonstrated high-energy, enthusiasm and brand knowledge
    • Assistance picking up and coordinating samples and swag items for brand ambassador activations
    • Assist in performing against key sampling program KPIs (e.g. # of samples distributed per event), including but not limited to a goal for the number of samples distributed at an event and new consumer engagement/touch points
    • Submission and approval of event/activation reports within specified, required time frame that includes photos, activation results and consumer feedback

    HOW DO YOU KNOW IF YOU'RE A FIT?

    • You're ready to dive right in We're looking for a Part-Time Marketing Communications Intern who's ready to start working with our team as soon as possible
    • You've had at least one other PR or integrated communications internship (in-house or at an agency) or entry-level experience with relevant opportunities to pitch media, engage with influencers, staff events, put together coverage/results reports, and support agency and client goals through research
    • You've at least had exposure to influencer ambassador programs
    • You are PUMPED about the idea of getting experience with an entrepreneurial agency team that's dedicated to providing clients kick-ass, creative support
    • When you reach for a snack, it's typically one that's free of weird stuff like pesticides and preservatives - you LOVE finding new natural foods to NOSH on
    • You like to laugh and have fun
    • You have a impeccable attention to detail and pride yourself on work being client ready
    • Ability to travel throughout the region (Greater Denver Metro Area) with reliable transportation that can get you and samples to and from events
    • Ability to work weekend and evening events from May-August
    • Must possess a valid driver's license that is not expired, suspended, or revoked, as well as both a clean driving record and no criminal record
    • Must provide proof of vehicle insurance as required by state law
    • BONUS: You've got the creative chops to help with design projects

    HOURS & COMPENSATION:

    We're looking for someone who can support our team in our Denver office for 20-25 hours a week, combining in-office time Monday-Friday as well as help activating events for clients on certain evenings and weekends. SchroderHaus will provide an $18/hour rate for our Part-Time Marketing Communications Intern.
