- Coordinates all medically appropriate clinical pre/post procedure activities, including clinical evaluation and consent, medical histories, and patient care. - 40%
- Communicates information regarding patient care, including procedural orders and notes, care plans, and discharge summaries. Assists physician in relaying treatment plans to nursing personnel, referring physicians and patient/family. - 35%
- Provides technical assistance to physician, when applicable. - 5%
- Assists in Department's quality assurance programs. - 5%
- Participates in patient education. - 5%
- Coordinates clinical research projects, when applicable. - 5%
- Participates in operational assessments in search of revenue enhancement, expense reductions, consolidation efficiencies and billing opportunities. - 5%
- Bachelor's Degree - Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner Program
- JOB RELATED CERTIFICATION - COTR
- CPR CERTIFICATION
