    Summary:

    The Mitigation Project Manager oversees all aspects of assigned restoration projects and assigned Production/Restoration crews. Their responsibilities are centered around customer satisfaction, revenue growth, profit growth, management development, and staff development. This front-line management position leads their team to operational excellence.

    Primary Responsibilities:

    · Manage the customer & client experience and overall customer satisfaction.

    · Provide prompt response to potential customers.

    · Develop scope of work for projects and review estimates.

    · Negotiate customer and/or client approval of project scope and estimate.

    · Schedule crews and resources to provide service on active projects.

    · Coordinate and oversee Restoration services with crews and subcontractors.

    · Document and/or review job files to support the services provided.

    · Maintain communication with internal and external stakeholders.

    · Manage Production/Restoration expenses.

    · Manage equipment and materials (assets).

    · Follow and oversee safe work practices and adherence to safety and risk management guidelines.

    · Assist in Training of Production/Restoration personnel.

    · Assist in the Recruiting of Production/Restoration personnel.

    · Manage Production/Restoration personnel.

    · Continued development of leadership and management skills, as well as restoration expertise.

    · Participation in an on-call rotation answering emergency calls after office hours and on weekends.

    · Other tasks/duties as required by employer.

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    · NYS Mold License strongly preferred

    · Xactimate Software knowledge a plus

    · High School Diploma/GED required, Associates or Bachelors degree strongly preferred.

    · Industry certifications strongly preferred.

    · Minimum 3-year management and/or supervisory experience.

    · Strong interpersonal skills, leadership skills, and management skills.

    · Effective written and oral communication skills

    · Experience in cleaning, restoration, and/or construction preferred.

    Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

    This is a management position occasionally working in an office environment; however, frequent field visits and field management will require jobsite activities. Occasional jobsite activities may involve lifting 50 pounds independently, occasionally lifting up to 100 pounds with assistance, walking and standing for long periods of time, driving, sitting, climbing ladders, utilizing scaffolding or lifts, pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying objects, working around cleaning products, and working overhead.

    While performing occasional jobsite duties, the employee may be working alongside cleaning products that require various types of PPE (personal protective equipment) such as gloves, eye protection or mask. The employee is occasionally exposed to unconditioned spaces (no heat or air conditioning), odors, etc. The noise level in the work environment and jobsites may include standard drying equipment, power tools, and demolition activities. The employee will be required to occasionally wear a respirator.

    Normal Working Hours, Additional Working Hours and Travel Requirements:

    This is a full-time position working 7:30 a.m. – 5:00 p.m., Monday – Friday.

    This position can require long hours, including evenings and weekends, as needed for emergency service or storm situations. Travel is required and is primarily local. However, some out-of-area and overnight travel opportunities may be available.
