As a Registered Nurse, you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing the well-being and quality of life for our people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities, making each day a chance to create positive change and contribute to a compassionate community.

Responsibilities:
Administers treatments and/or medication as ordered by the physician.

Visits each residence according to prescribed schedule to evaluate the individuals' physical conditions.

Reviews all health care provided to individuals including, related materials, recording notes and findings in the electronic medical record system and in the health care records.

Participates in interdisciplinary team meetings.

Acts as a liaison between the Individuals and the providers of health care in the community as well as with the consumer's family and with other professional and para-professional staff.

Performs assessments, problem identification & resolution and evaluation of the consumer's health care needs.

Agree to follow federal, state and local governmental regulatory guidelines pertaining to a safe, healthy and clean work environment, reporting health and safety concerns to the supervisor.

Complete all tasks deemed necessary to provide optimal health care to Opengate Individuals.

Performs other duties as assigned

Qualifications:
Must have Registered Nurse License in New York State

Must have Drivers License in Tri-State Area (NY,NJ,CT)

(1) year experience working with people with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities

Technical expertise in rendering nursing care

Ability to work a flexible schedule.

Salary - $83,000 - $100,000 based on experience.
